About Us

ÆONIS SYSTEMS is seeking a Grant Writer & Fundraising Specialist to help secure critical funding for our nonprofit initiatives. This role is essential in identifying grant opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and fostering relationships with donors and funding organizations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, persuasive, and experienced in nonprofit fundraising strategies.

Important Note: Until funding is secured, we ask for a commitment of 10-15 hours per month to ensure steady progress while respecting your time and contributions. This role is open to global applicants and can be remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grant Research & Identification: Research and identify grant opportunities relevant to AI-driven healthcare and education initiatives.

  • Proposal Development: Write and submit compelling, high-quality grant proposals to secure funding.

  • Donor & Partner Engagement: Build and manage relationships with donors, grant organizations, and philanthropic partners

  • Compliance & Reporting: Track and report on funding applications and grant outcomes to ensure compliance with grant requirements.

  • Fundraising Campaigns: Assist in the development of fundraising campaigns and sponsorship programs.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with AI researchers, project managers, and executive leadership to align funding proposals with ongoing initiatives

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing funding through grants, corporate sponsorships, or philanthropic sources.

  • Technical & Research Skills: Strong research skills and the ability to analyze funding opportunities

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on persuasive grant writing.

  • Nonprofit Knowledge: Experience working with nonprofit organizations or AI/healthcare initiatives is a plus.

  • Independence & Organization: Ability to work independently, manage multiple funding applications, and meet deadlines

Work Model & Expectations

  • Commitment: 10-15 hours per month.

  • Work Type: Remote

  • Location: Open to global applicants.

  • Compensation: Currently voluntary; early contributors will be prioritized for paid roles once funding is secured
