About Us
ÆONIS SYSTEMS is looking for a Cloud & DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure for AI-driven healthcare and education applications. This role involves building scalable CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud-based deployments, and ensuring system security and reliability. The ideal candidate has strong experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and DevOps best practices.
Important Note: Until funding is secured, we ask for a commitment of 10-15 hours per month to ensure steady progress while respecting your time and contributions. This role is open to global applicants and can be remote.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage cloud-based AI applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
CI/CD Pipeline Development: Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows for AI models and applications.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate deployments using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud environments meet HIPAA, GDPR, and data protection regulations for healthcare applications.
System Monitoring & Optimization: Set up logging, alerting, and performance monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
Scalability & Reliability: Design high-availability, fault-tolerant architectures for AI systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with AI engineers, backend developers, and security teams to optimize cloud performance.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3+ years in cloud computing, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
Technical Background: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, or related fields preferred.
Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda), GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Functions), or Azure.
Automation Skills: Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Kubernetes.
DevOps Tools: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Helm.
Networking & Security: Knowledge of VPCs, firewalls, IAM policies, and encryption best practices.
Work Model & Expectations
Commitment: 10-15 hours per month.

Compensation: Currently voluntary; early contributors will be prioritized for paid roles once funding is secured
