About Us

ÆONIS SYSTEMS is looking for an AI Research Scientist to lead the development of innovative AI models for healthcare and education. This role is essential for researching, prototyping, and optimizing machine learning models that will power real-time patient monitoring, predictive analytics, and adaptive learning systems. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, research-driven, and passionate about ethical AI.

Important Note: Until funding is secured, we ask for a commitment of 10-15 hours per month to ensure steady progress while respecting your time and contributions. This role is open to global applicants and can be remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research & Development: Design, train, and optimize AI models for healthcare and educational applications.

  • Algorithm Optimization: Develop efficient deep learning, reinforcement learning, and NLP models.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, clinicians, and educators to integrate AI solutions.

  • Ethical AI Compliance: Ensure that AI models are bias-free, privacy-conscious, and compliant with industry standards.

  • Publication & Documentation: Contribute to research publications and maintain clear technical documentation.

  • Model Validation & Testing: Evaluate AI models for accuracy, reliability, and scalability in real-world applications.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in AI/ML research, with a focus on healthcare, NLP, or predictive modeling.

  • Academic Background: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of deep learning architectures, transformer models, and generative AI.

  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent frameworks.

  • Data Science Knowledge: Experience working with large-scale datasets, model evaluation techniques, and feature engineering.

  • Ethical AI: Understanding of bias mitigation, explainability, and privacy-preserving machine learning.

Work Model & Expectations

  • Commitment: 10-15 hours per month.

  • Compensation: Currently voluntary; early contributors will be prioritized for paid roles once funding is secured
